Community Activities
Fostering a sense of community and belonging is a key tenet of JDRF’s commitment to improving the lives of people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) today, while we diligently work towards cures. We are partnering with dedicated volunteer committees to organize local community activities for both adults and families affected by T1D. The type of activities will vary with each community, as they are hosted and run by these amazing volunteer groups. Please choose a province below to find community activities near you!

Royal Tyrell Museum

Hands-on workshops, sleep alongside the fossils in Dinosaur Hall, and tour the galleries.

Edmonton Zoo Sleepover

Indoor Roller Skating

Join us for the St. Albert Rainmaker Parade. Meet up between 8-8:30am at Cranky’s Bike Shop to reserve a spot, bring a chair, for the parade starting at 9:30am. Lots of fun planned for the day!

Decorate The JDRF Walk Pathway
