T1D Parent Support Group
Living with T1D is a challenge. There is a lot to learn in order to manage diabetes day-to-day. You can get support and guidance from other parents at the JDRF Parent Support Group. The group meets the first Wednesday each month at Coffee Matters, Mount Pearl.
UPCOMING MEETING DATES:
TBD, Fall 2017
Adult T1D Group
The Adult T1D Group is a group of adults with type 1 diabetes who are dedicated to helping each other manage the highs and lows of living with diabetes. The group connects via email, meetings, activities and Facebook. For more information on the group, contact Penney.
Whether it's the TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes, the JDRF Revolution Ride to Defeat Diabetes, or any other JDRF event, they all require a considerable amount of volunteer help.
This help can be pre-event, working on a committee - recruitment of participants, solicitation of sponsorships for items and services, or day-of event duties - registration, route supervision, kids activities, refreshment area, etc.
For information on the many volunteer opportunities available, please contact Amanda Kane at (709) 987-0238 or email email@example.com.
Volunteers are the backbone of JDRF and their support is truly appreciated!
A third party event is a fundraising event in support of JDRF, organized independently by an outside (third) party.
If your company, service club, or group is interested in helping raise funds for JDRF, we would love to hear from you. From raffles to bake sales, BBQs to carnivals, the only limit is your imagination!
If you wish to host a third party event in support of JDRF, please contact Amanda at (709) 987-0238 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
