JDRF House ParT1D for a Cure

presented by Omnipod

Many thanks to the amazing families and corporate partners in New Brunswick and PEI Regions who participated in the JDRF House ParT1D for a Cure! Your dedication to T1D research and finding a cure, especially during these challenging times, is deeply appreciated.

We all missed being able to welcome you at our Walk venues this year, but we did still manage to come together as a community in a virtual way, while raising over $2.1 Million for T1D research!

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our local event partners and sponsors: Armour Transportation Systems, UPS, WestJet and Cavendish Farms! We could not have done it without your support!

If you’d like to re-watch any parts of the JDRF House ParT1D, please visit JDRF Canada’s Youtube page.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Fundraising in Your Community (Third Party Events)

A third party event is a fundraising event for JDRF, organized independently by an outside (third) party. If your company, club, or group is interested in helping raise funds for JDRF, there are many ways to do so. From raffles to BBQ, bake sales, garage sales, car washes and golf tournaments, the only limit is your imagination!

If you are interested in hosting an event or would like more information,
contact the JDRF office at 506.238.1716 or

Whether it's the Walk to Cure Diabetes, the Sun Life Ride to Defeat Diabetes, or any other JDRF event that takes place during the year, they all require a considerable amount of volunteer help.

This help can be pre-event, like working on a committee and helping with participant recruitment, sponsorship solicitation, etc, as well as day-of-event duties, including registration, route supervision, kids activities, refreshment area, etc.

For information on the many volunteer opportunities available, please contact Iraida at 506.238.1716 or e-mail

Volunteers are the backbone of JDRF and their support is truly appreciated!
