JDRF volunteers come from diverse backgrounds, bringing with them a variety of skills and experiences. Without their hard work and passion the research breakthroughs accomplished to date would not have been possible.
Each year thousands of volunteers lend their time and talents in support of turning type one into type none, and we have a wide variety of rewarding volunteer opportunities available. Regardless of your volunteer role, your contribution will result in real-world change.

Events are one of the pillars of JDRF and they continue to be a success thanks to the support of volunteers. These fundraising events provide necessary funds to ground-breaking T1D research and bring us one step closer to a cure. With so many roles and events throughout the year we have opportunities to suit any interest.
JDRF Advocates put T1D on the government agenda by actively participating in the legislative decision-making process as it affects research to find a cure for diabetes and its complications.
Advocacy volunteers work across Canada in support of ongoing efforts to give voice to the most pressing issues for the type 1 diabetes community.
