What's your super food?

Recently I visited a nutritionist. Truth be told, I haven’t seen one in years. Partially because I didn’t want to take the time, partially because I was scared of what she might have to say. Change can be scary! But this time, I was happy to go. After all, I want to do whatever I can to help naturally lower my cholesterol level.

To my surprise, the visit was most fruitful for me. And by fruitful, I mean exactly that. I had never even tried passionfruit before but after I learned about the benefits of eating it, I found myself in the fruit aisle stocking up on it. Not only is it full of Vitamin A and C, it’s also a good source of dietary fibre. One hundred grams of the fruit is approximately 10 grams of fibre. This is just one of the foods I’ve started to incorporate into my diet since my visit to the nutritionist.
