JDRF Global Challenge: The Ultimate Experience!
Are you looking for an adventure of a lifetime? Want to help raise crucial funds that will continue to drive research efforts to find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications?
In 2011, cyclists conquered the Alpe D’Huez in support of JDRF and the challenge is back again for 2013! On July 4-8, 2013, the JDRF Global Challenge will be taking place in the mountains of the Dolomites tackling some of the most famous climbs in Northern Italy. The 3 day cycling spectacular will culminate in a 130 km challenge on the final day, raising funds in support of JDRF - the world's largest charitable supporter of T1D research.
You can join 39 fellow cyclists from JDRF affiliate locations including Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States and be part of this global adventure! All participants must raise a minimum of $5,500 to enter and each cyclist’s funds can support the JDRF affiliate of their country of residence.
Matthew Rady, Head of Banking and Financial Services for the Macquarie Group in North America tells you why you should join, and why this adventure of a lifetime is so important in raising funds for JDRF to fund leading T1D research.
Space is filling up quickly so be sure to sign up today. Are you up for the challenge?
