Go back-to-school with everything you need to manage your T1D
Whether your child is going to a new school or going into a different classroom, it is important for teachers and school staff to understand how to properly manage type 1 diabetes (T1D). JDRF has a School Advisory Toolkit which offers collaborative methods for educators and parents of children with diabetes to ensure that every child enjoys the best possible school experience.
Children spend most of their day in the school setting, with teachers and other school personnel, so it is important that schools are prepared to deal with day-to-day management of T1D. The JDRF School Advisory Toolkit equips parents with basic, easy to understand tools to assist in communicating proper diabetes care with their child’s school.
