From competing in regional math and science competitions to mentoring others in robotics programs, Lucas has accomplished much despite his Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis. He attributes his successes to hard work, dedication, and the support of his friends, teachers, and family. He aspires to use his experience to help create an environment that fosters friendships and confidence to help other kids explore STEM and social justice.
