Leela is no stranger to advocacy. Participating at a speech competition, Leela wrote and delivered her speech on the topic of Type 1 Diabetes taking 2nd place at the event. Her hobbies include sketching, reading, painting, playing the piano, ukulele, and the flute. She loves being in nature and hopes to bring awareness to the need for better coverage for those living with Type 1 Diabetes.
