Leah was diagnosed with T1D in September 2021. Leah has a very positive attitude towards her diagnosis and remains the active, involved girl she has always been. She has a love for dance and has been dancing since the age of 3. She truly shows that T1D does not hold her back. She is always eager to educate others regarding T1D and takes a sense of pride being a person living with diabetes. Since her diagnosis, Leah has participated at fundraising events and is eager to begin her advocacy journey.
