Besides playing competitively at his local soccer club, Joseph enjoys speaking with others about Type 1 Diabetes and how it affects him in his life. He has participated in an awareness campaigns sharing his experience with classmates at school and has helped raise funds for research towards a cure. Despite his diagnosis, his outlook on life remains positive and is eager to help others like him overcome this disease.
