Andrei was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 5 but has refused to let it slow him down. He has written and presented at school competitions on the topic of T1D and has been an active JDRF Ambassador in raising awareness and funds for research. Andrei understands how difficult life is with T1D and aspires to become a doctor or researcher to help others living this disease and to discover a cure.
