Age: 17
Age at diagnosis: 11
Lives in: Winnipeg, MB

Noah has been living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) for six years and has been raising awareness and advocating for the T1D community since. He was a recipient of the Boston Pizza Youth Ambassador of the Year Award in 2018 and have been a JDRF Advocate for Manitoba Lobby Day in 2017 and 2020 as well as for Kids for a Cure Lobby Day in 2018. Noah and his family are very involved with JDRF with their participation for the JDRF Gala, annual Walk, as well as helping newly diagnosed families as Talk T1D mentors. He is currently a student athlete studying science and enjoys playing hockey, soccer and mountain biking and aspires to be a neurosurgeon. A cure for Noah would mean freedom from worrying about the “what if’s,” and planning every aspect of his life, allowing him to focus on school and sports.

This kid never ceases to amaze me ❤️ Please share his story!! ❤️ He’s been advocating and raising awareness for Type 1 Diabetes since he was diagnosed six years ago. He’s had the extreme privilege of joining JDRF to lobby and advocate both provincially and nationally. He’s a fighter and has been since day one. Noah is hoping to join JDRF once again at Kids for a Cure - Home Edition to discuss research and funding. Please listen and help him by sharing his story. You can also share it on my FaceBook page. Thank you ❤️ #T1DChampions #T1D #typeonediabetes #T1Dhero #T1Dstrong #T1Dwarrior #t1dmom #diabetes #strength #winnipeg #manitoba #advocacy #fighter #t1dhockey #hockey @jdrf_canada @jdrf_prairies Thanks Fran @fsilvaggio for coming to his rescue!
