Juliette has been living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) for over four years. Research is important to her because having access to a continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump has made T1D management a lot easier. Despite significant advancements in T1D treatments, Juliette believes we must continue to fund research so that we can one day eradicate the disease. She supports JDRF and has participated in the Kids for a Cure Lobby Day in 2018. Juliette aspires to become a journalist and her hobbies include improvisation, theatre, cooking, ukulele, reading and photography.
