Riding Proud

Thank you for Riding Stationary to Move Research Forward. In 2013 your support helped us raise $2 million towards T1D research.

We invite you to celebrate JDRF Canada’s 40th anniversary by joining the cycle-bration; one big party on a bike to celebrate you, your ride and the progress made in type 1 diabetes research over the past four decades.

The JDRF Ride for Diabetes Research is a team-based event where teams of 5 riders register, raise pledges and ride on a stationary bike in 6 minute intervals over the course of an hour while dancing to the top party tunes from 40 years ago to today.

Ride with us in 2014!

Toronto – September 19, Real Estate Challenge – September 30 or York – October 8.

For information about the Ride please contact:
Toronto - Russell Mark at rmark@jdrf.ca / 647-789-2322

We can never be thankful enough...

Thank you so much for making the TELUS Walk a day to remember, you made a day of celebration become an inspiration.

It was incredible to see the unity in the community! The passion and the dedication of the JDRF family couldn’t have been more evident. We are so honoured to be associated with a group of inspirational individuals like you.

Sunday’s celebration was made possible because of all the hard work, time and effort you dedicate to raising crucial funds for T1D research and we are so grateful for your commitment to JDRF and the TELUS Walk.

Your continued support is helping us work towards turning Type One into Type None!

Please follow us on Twitter, “like” us on Facebook and make sure to use the hashtag #TELUSWalk to share your moments with us.

We are almost there... our goal is not far from reach!

We are tracking well towards our goal but it can take some time until we reconcile all the funds brought to us on event day. We will keep you posted!

Remember, just because the event is over doesn’t mean you can’t fundraise. You can still fundraise for the Walk until December 31, 2014.

Volunteer

Help Shape a Future Without Diabetes

JDRF relies on hundreds of volunteers to achieve our mission to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. These dedicated individuals, organizations, and companies commit their time, energy, money, and services– we couldn’t do it without them!

Whether it’s the TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes, the Ride for Diabetes Research, the Promise Ball, Office Volunteer or any other JDRF event that takes places during the year, they all require a considerable amount of volunteer help.

Contact Asha Lewis alewis@jdrf.ca or 647-789-2035 for volunteer opportunities.
