2015 TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes

TELUS Walk

As Toronto prepares to welcome the world for the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games this summer, the 2015 JDRF TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes, taking place on Sunday June 14, has relocated for one year to the beautiful Bruce’s Mill Conservation Area.

Conveniently located 20 minutes from Toronto off Highway 404, Bruce's Mill Conservation Area is a stunning, pristine park offering shady tree hiking trails, covered picnic areas and free parking!

In addition, Bruce’s Mill has wonderful onsite family activities where children can let their imaginations run wild as they explore tree-houses connected by hammock nets and slides.

And we haven’t forgotten about the “Kids at Heart!” Bruce’s Mill also offers Treetop Trekking!* Feel the rush as you fly across ziplines, and climb like a monkey on balance logs, cable traverses, hammock nets,  wooden bridges and Tarzan swings suspended high in the forest canopy.

Transportation will be provided to and from the Stouffville Go Train. More details coming soon!

Registration is now open, we look forward to seeing you there!

*Fees may apply

Of course, we are happy to answer any questions you have about these exciting changes. Please feel free to call Kimberley at 647-789-2325, or Sherry at 647-789-2038.

Welcome to the 2015 Toronto Promise Ball - A 'Fun'draising Gala

Since the very first Toronto Promise Ball in the early 80’s, this amazing event has raised over $19 million -  critical funds that have been directed to the most promising and innovative diabetes research.

Although the format has changed over the years, the event continues to be one of the largest and most successful galas in Toronto. With a focus on great food, entertainment, amazing auction items and raffle prizes, and the opportunity to support the ground breaking research being funded by JDRF, the 2015 Promise Ball will continue this tradition.

This year, the Promise Ball will be taking place:

Date: Saturday November 14, 2015
