The JDRF Revolution Ride is back and better than ever with a fresh new look and new ways to participate. See below for new updates for the Toronto Revolution.

We are going back our roots and bringing the Ride back outdoors!

5 Ways to Ride:

Ride10: Team Up - a team of five; each participant rides for seven minutes.
Ride60*: Go Further - an individual 60 minute challenge where distance is measured (register now as space is limited!)
Ride100**: Go the Distance - an individual 100km endurance challenge where time is measured (register now as space is limited!)
vRide: Ride anywhere - Ride where you want when you want 
iRide: Ride international- choose from seven rides that take place in the USA.

Sector Challenges

All sector challenges will be continuing virtually this year. This allows all teams to ride at a convenient time throughout the day. Sector Challenge winners will be announced at the end of the campaign in late December. Times will "Sell Out" so register early!!!!

The Scotiabank Charity Challenge is a fundraising initiative that has raised more than $8.1 million for over 530 local Canadian charities in 2015, including JDRF Canada.  Participants can select either the 5km or 21km challenge and fundraise for a local charity of their choice.

2016 TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes

Thank you for all of your support at the 2016 TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes! We had an amazing day - beautiful weather, inspiring community, and lots of fun. Thank you for making it an incredible day and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Because of people like you, this year's Walk has already raised over $300,000, but the fundraising doesn't stop here! You can still collect donations online or send them to our office with an accompanying pledge form until the end of the year.

Bag of Hope

JDRF is pleased to provide our complimentary Bag of Hope to newly diagnosed children to help them and their families become more familiar with T1D.  The Bag of Hope contains a variety of educational and reference materials.

As a special gift, children under 12 will also receive a Rufus, the Bear with Diabetes™ designed to help children cope and learn about insulin injections.

Mentor Program

You or a family member has just been diagnosed with T1D; what do you do now? When faced with such a diagnosis, it can be a traumatic and stressful time possibly leaving you and/or your family feeling alone and overwhelmed but you're not alone.

JDRF’s Family Network Volunteers can provide much needed emotional support, information about diabetes resources, education about what families can do to help find a cure and most of all, be a good listener...
we are here to help. Please note, our volunteers are not healthcare professionals and are not authorized to provide medical advice for which, you should consult your doctor or other healthcare professionals.
