Life with Diabetes
Mentor Program
The Mentor Program is about sharing, helping, listening and forming new friendships with people who understand the fears associated with recent diagnosis. Our carefully screened mentors are concerned families who have children with type 1, and want to help other children and families adjust during the emotional process of learning to live with diabetes. The program is about touching families and supporting them when they need it the most. Please contact your local JDRF Chapter for more information and to be matched with a mentor.
