A look at the 2010 Montreal Ride kick-off
The 2010 Montreal Ride for Diabetes Research kick-off's motivating ambiance, held May 25, was a great start to this year's event with more than 100 people in attendance!
Energizing music, photo montage, continental breakfast and presentation of the inspiring 2010 Ride promotional video made for a fun atmosphere.
JDRF wishes to thank all participants who were at the kick-off, especially Olympic medalist Clara Hughes who gave an inspirational testimony on health and the importance to get involved with the Ride. Thank you to the Montreal Ride co-chairs Maarika Paul and Pascal Duquette, to Keira and her mother Leanne for sharing their personal story on living with type 1 diabetes, and thank you to Club Mansfield for the warm-up. It was with great enthusiasm that the Montreal Ride 2010 fundraising goal of $1,100,000 was revealed to the guests!
