Making Great Strides Towards the Finish Line
The TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes is Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s most powerful fundraising engine attracting over 45,000 Canadians every year who are just as dedicated as we are to find a cure for diabetes. In 2007, $6.5M was raised and our goal for 2008 is over $7M.

For 2008, JDRF is thrilled to welcome TELUS as the new title sponsor. TELUS joins JDRF’s mission with a multi-year $1.2 million partnership to fund Canadian researchers and a cure for juvenile (Type 1) diabetes. The impact of TELUS’ commitment is significant as JDRF aims to accelerate the pace of research.

This event provides an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about juvenile (Type 1) diabetes, raise much needed funds to continue essential JDRF funded research programs and is a great way for corporations and families to get out for a day of fun and fitness.
